Join Sportacus Football Camp in the heart of Farnborough Village for an exciting week of football, fitness, competitions, skill development and fun! Our football camps are designed for players of all abilities, giving children the opportunity to play more football, learn new skills, build confidence and make new friends in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. Throughout the camp, players will take part in a mixture of high energy football sessions, competitive games, technical challenges and athletic development, ensuring every day is packed with opportunities to learn and improve. What will we be doing? S&C Plyometrics Mornings - start the day by developing the physical qualities that help players perform on the pitch. Sessions will focus on strength, speed, power, balance, coordination, agility and explosiveness, using fun and age appropriate exercises and challenges. Ball Mastery and Technical Skills - players will work on their individual technique through a range of ball mastery activities, including dribbling, close control, turns, changes of direction, passing and receiving. The aim is to help players become more confident and comfortable with the ball at their feet, Position Specific Development - players will have the opportunity to work on areas of the game linked to their position. This can include attacking, defending, passing, movement, finishing, decision making and goalkeeper skills, helping players understand how they can contribute to their team. Fun Football Drills and Challenges - our sessions will include plenty of fun and competitive challenges designed to keep players active and engaged. From 1v1's and finishing challenges to passing games, there will be something from everyone. Daily Games - players will have plenty of opportunities to put their skills into practice through small sided games and match based activities. These games will encourage teamwork, communication, decision making and creativity, while allowing players to simply enjoy playing football. Friday Tournament - the week will finish with our Sportacus Football Tournament! Players will be placed into teams and compete in a fun tournament format, putting the skills and techniques they have developed throughout the week into practice. The tournament will give players the chance to experience a competitive match environment while developing teamwork, communication, sportsmanship and confidence. More Than Just Football - our camps are more than improving as a footballer. We want every child to have a great experience, meet new people and feel part of the Sportacus community. Throughout the week, players will have the opportunity to make new friends, work as part of a team, challenge themselves and build confidence.
