Football.
Sportatots Football club is the perfect first step into football for young players. At this early stage it is all about learning basic skills and building confidence with the ball. Our fun-filled sessions are designed to help young children master the essential skills and begin to use these in games, activities and matches situations . Whether your child is already kicking a ball around or just starting out, we'll make sure their introduction to football is fun, welcoming and supportive.
What skills will my child learn?
Ball Control - Learning to dribble, stop and control the ball in different ways and different speeds, changing direction and reacting to players around you.
Kicking and Aiming - Scoring goals and passing with your teammates
Basic rules and tactics - learn the introductory rules to football, understanding the concept of "my team vs your team" and the essential life skills of taking turns and sharing the ball.
Movement skills: Running with the ball, changing direction and balancing while on the move
Please note: children at this age will not play full matches, coaches will facilitate match style situations and learning through play. We believe it is important for children to develop confidence in their skills before being introduced to a match situation.

Construction Play.
Construction Play encourages children to use their imagination while developing essential motor skills, spatial awareness, and early engineering concepts. Using a range of materials such as wooden blocks, magnetic tiles, and other construction toys, children will explore stacking, balancing, and designing their own structures.

These sessions help strengthen hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork, as children work together or independently to bring their ideas to life. With plenty of opportunities for open-ended play, this session nurtures creativity, resilience, and confidence in young learners.
